Description: This is an unusual specimen of the elephant train theme found in turn of the century ivories in that it has 8 elephants (4 inches!) carved in full three dimensions on a pin. Also unusual is the condition - aside from a few age lines this item is in astounding condition. Every tusk, every foot, every trunk is complete without chips or scratches. The ivory has not been darkened by the artisan and shows virtually no yellowing. The pin shaft itself has some very minor bends but this takes nothing away from the charm or the wearability of the piece. Combined shipping available.
