Description: Large (4' X 6') and lovely antique tapestry depicting the Three Wise Men/Kings travelling on the desert, bearing their gifts for the baby Jesus. I am not certain what the materials are, but it is very soft, like a dense, short chenille. The colors are still vibrant and beautiful. Identified as made in Italy, the original owner told me it hung in his home from his early childhood; he noted that his father had served in World War I and likely purchased it while stationed in Italy. The tapestry is in very good condition: there are 3 tiny moth holes (see photos). This would be a pretty table covering for the holidays.
