Description:
8.25" h x 9" w measured without tassels. c1875-1880. I am pleased to offer another (#3) fine double beaded frame, also in Excellent Condition. Same shape as the other 2 but different ornamentation. This one features a flower basket at the top. Please examine the photos. All original, even the hanger. 4 loops at the bottom center to right were replaced, that's all. The 2 purple velvet fields are threadbare but holding on. The apricot polished cotton backing is intact. Originally designed to hold the then popular CDVs ( cartes de visite) or tintypes. The tintypes shown with this whimsy are not included.
