Description: This unusual antique balcony gate has been retrofitted at one point in its history. We added a 2nd side so that a console table can be made. The former center medellion has been thoughtfully replaced with a cast iron Fleur De Lys fireback. The gate has only one supporting "side". A marble or stone slab could be added to the top, to make a wonderful console, or it could be re-used as a small outdoor balcony gate. It is up to ones imagination as to how to incorporate this beautiful architectural piece into a home.
