Description: Antique Gothic Doors from France Door 1-H=86, W=28 1/2 Door 2-H=85 3/8, W=28 5/8 Two Antique Gothic French European Walnut Wood Doors with Antique Bronze Hardware – Very Good Antique Condition – Minor Wood Separations Consistent with Age – Doors’ finishes have been sealed for protection at some point in their history – 19th C.- Sold as a pair. These magnificent antique Gothic French European walnut wood doors, with similar French Gothic ornamentation were probably made for the same home. The foil and cusp ornamentation is the same, but in different configurations. The backs of the doors are walnut wood with a simple interior rectangular molding. The European walnut wood that was used for both doors is of an extremely high quality. The high and low lights seen on the back of one door is not a series of small boards, but the graining of the wood. These are for the discerning buyer of quality antique French doors.
