Description: Old German beer stein made of faceted blown crystal glass with applied handle. From 1870s period. Decorated with copper-wheel engraved picture of a dog in a forest. Excellent very detailed engraving. Unfortunately my picture failed to show all the fine details of the engraving. The lid is pewter with a glass inlay - stone cut and faceted into a diamond-shape. The glass is in excellent condition - there is no chips or cracks, only some glass impurities that were common for the time. The pewter is also perfect with tight-sitting lid and tight hinge. 6.5" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity.
