Description: A fine antique George IV mahogany stick barometer signed on the ivory dials 'Batchelor, Harrogate', the scales measuring atmospheric pressure in inches of mercury and fitted with a rack operated vernier, the ivory scaled mercury thermometer in the trunk measuring temperature in Farenheit, the turned ebonised urn shaped cistern cover flanked by geometric inlays. This superb instrument has been cleaned and overhauled, is completely original and it's condition is excellent.
