Description:
This box has a plain square shaped form. To the base there is a band of bead and pierced decoration. The box is supported by four Regency style foof feet. The hallmarked domed hinged cover retains the original hallmarked fir cone and leaf decorated finial. This fine box is an extremely good guage of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the main body, and part hallmarks struck to the surface of the cover and to the finial are all clear. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item. Height to top of finial 16cm/6.3", Body 12.5cm/4.85" square, Weight 25 troy ounces/778g.
