Description: Antique French Wooden Butter Churn on Stand of European Oak H=33 3/4, W=33 3/8, Depth at Legs=27 1/4, Depth at Top=15 3/4 An Antique, Primitive, French Wooden Butter Churn on Stand of European Oak and Secondary Woods from Provence. Good Antique Condition – Interior Paddle Missing- Late 1800’s From the Provence region, comes this charming and primitive European oak semi-circle butter churn on stand. The interior center paddle has been replaced at some point in time by a shelf made from two old boards. The top is hinged for easy opening. In a country style home, this piece would also be wonderful as a base for a sink in a powder bath, for extra storage in a country kitchen or as a decorative conversation piece in any room.
