Description: An antique French silver over bronze letter/document seal. A unique well cast form of a face with crown appears on both sides of the seal. Most likely, an allegorical figure, the eyes appear to look downward. Circa 1880 Measurements; 2 3/4" high Condition; very good antique condition, there appears to be a small mark on the underside of the chin, I have been trying to clean this mark (you will notice silver cleaner in the picture).
