Description:
This fabulous French Empire revival chest of drawers with flame mahogany veneer features six equal-sized drawers, a dark marble top, and dore bronze mounts including female Egyptian masks and feet and lion mask ring pulls. It measures approximately 60" by 33" by 20". There is no key and the working condition of the locks is unknown. This chest is unrestored and in good condition. It shows wear consistent with age, most notably small veneer losses here and there. The small piece of molding and bronze feet from the lower right side which are missing in our images will be installed prior to shipment. This item is being sold on behalf of a client in New York City. It is currently in storage, but may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded uponr request.
