Description: Magnificent and rare Cameo Glass Inkwell with an engraved clear glass base and polychrome glass acid etched or carved leaf and floral decorations. The inkwell has a gilt metal mushroom shaped hinged top and opens with no effort, a beautiful inkwell, French 19th century. Condition: Excellent No damage, roughness noted to the glass liner on the edge. Measures 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
