Description: Antique nautical theme Fob in the form of a compass, set in 15 carat gold, with mother of pearl and bloodstone. Made in England late 19th - early 20th century.

Measures a little over an inch in length. Weighs 7-8 grams.

The compass is set in a bold mount, the solid band surrounded with applied gold with the appearance of nautical ropes. Much in keeping with the compass theme. Sturdy loop to suspend it from a watch chain.
The face of the compass is made of mother of pearl. Black ink denotes detailed directions. The back of the compass is set with a bloodstone.

The face of the compass swivels as the direction changes.

Generally good condition, although dust from years should be removed from under the glass.
