This is a beautiful antique English mahogany vanity chest dresser. It features a beautiful beveled mirror that tilts and it has attractive turned supports with finials and a distinguished frame richly adorned with rope and floral carvings. One of the supports is tilted a little and it keeps the mirror from tilting without touching the support but it can be easily repaired and the mirror shows some hazing but it only validates the dresser antiquity. The top surface is in very good condition and its edge is adorned with rope carvings. In addition it has 3 convenient jewelry drawers that have lovely rope carved edge and brass pulls. It also has 3 large drawers with front and back dovetail joinery that have beautiful flame mahogany fronts with attractive brass pulls. One of the handles is missing but its not distracting at all. The front of this dresser is also adorned with a rope carved edge and reeded accents. The sides are lighter and discolored due to age but it only adds character to the piece. It has elegant turned carved legs with convenient casters. This piece may show age appropriate signs of wear including wood imperfections and missing molding but as shown it is overall cosmetically and structurally in very good condition and it is strong and sturdy. It is a beautiful piece that will make a lovely addition to any room.
MBW Furniture now offers repair/refinishing services. We can repair or refinish any item for an additional fee. We do not recommend such services on antiques unless required by a valued customer as this will take away from the natural aged patina.

We feel it is important for our customers to realize that professional packing is not cheap and we do not want to take any chances with your hard earned money.
