Description:
This beautiful yew corner cabinet was English-made around 1960 as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. Today, the yew remains as beautiful as ever, with a deep, lustrous complexion and a pronounced grain that contrast beautifully with the astragal glass moulding. The quarter-veneered bottom panel looks especially striking, and dental moulding around the top provides a stylish accent, while the shaped bracket feet are as sturdy as they are elegant. The top and bottom cabinet doors, both of which lock with an accompanying key, house removable shelves. There is a bit of minor surface wear, particularly on the lower-left foot, which you can see in the accompanying pictures. Otherwise, this corner cabinet remains quite sturdy and in very good overall condition.
