Item Description:
This is a beautiful antique English walnut marbletop vanity washstand. It features a gorgeous backsplash with a beautiful cultured marble surface on its back that has 2 very attractive shaped supports on its sides and a carved pediment that has a scalloped shape with beautiful foliage and scroll carvings. It also has a gorgeous cultured marble top surface which even though it has some age appropriate pitting and imperfections it is in good condition for its age, circa 1890. In addition there are 3 smooth operating drawers that are well built with dovetail joinery and they have lovely curved handles with fancy hardware. One of the drawers has a wood separation inside but it doesn’t affect its function at all. There are attractive turned legs with convenient casters. This piece may show minor wear and imperfections but overall it is in good
good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This is an outstanding piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
