Item Description:
This is a beautiful antique English solid dark oak mirrorback buffet sideboard server. It features a gorgeous back splash with a beveled round mirror and a scalloped top. The mirror has some hazing but it only adds character and validity to its age. On the sides it has two shelves and beautiful carved decorative designs. The top surface has a very nice finish and though it has minor age appropriate wear it is in very good condition. This buffet has two smooth operating drawers well constructed with dovetail joinery and they have lovely brass handles with decorative floral hardware. The cabinet is spacious and it has two shelves, one that is removable, and it has two doors that have decorative accents and between them is a surface also decorated with ornate carvings and fluted sides. The server has very unique legs with attractive carvings on top and a box stretcher. This piece may show some minor age appropriate wear and wood imperfections on its decorative accents, otherwise it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This is an outstanding piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
