Item Description:
This is a gorgeous antique English Victorian solid oak marble top washstand. It has a gorgeous marble top with a beautiful marble back splash which has a unique diamond shape design on its center and a very beautiful carved pediment with floral and foliage designs. The edge and surface of the marble top and back splash may have some imperfections but as seen on the pictures they’re easily overlooked. This piece features a spacious cabinet which has minor age appropriate wood separations inside but they’re not distracting at all and can be easily covered with wallpaper or your favorite fabric to match your current décor.
It has very attractive doors with a scalloped raised surface and lovely round handles which turn to keep them lock. The sides of this piece are paneled and it has beautiful turned legs with convenient casters on their feet. This piece may have minor wood flaws and tiny spots of white paint which may be removable otherwise it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition considering its age, circa 1899, and it is strong and sturdy. This is a gorgeous piece of furniture that will not only enrich your home décor with its presence but will also become a treasured heirloom in your family!
