Description:
Dating to around 1890, this is a Victorian desk-top " Letters " rack with it's solid brass plaques to back and front making this quite clear.
So useful around the house, I have many all over the place to collect all those modern day pieces of paper, receipts, bills, cards to be sent and even business cards; as useful today as 110 years ago.
The plinth is made of solid oak standing on it's original four brass ball feet. The oak is impressed with the makers mark W T & S for William Tonk and Sons, always a benefit to have a signed piece.
Excellent condition measuring 7" x 3 1/4" x 5 3/4" tall to top of handle.
Worldwide insured airmail included.
