Item Description:
This is a lovely antique English mahogany Sutherland dropleaf gateleg occasional side table. It has a very nice mahogany top surface and even though it has minor age appropriate scratches, stains and imperfections it is in very good condition for its age. Since it’s a gateleg table the sides easily fold down and they extend the table from 5.5” to 24.25 inches. It features gorgeous turned legs with rings and it has a turned stretcher with elegant curved legs. The table may have minor wood imperfections but overall it is in very good condition considering its age, circa 1899, and though it wobbles a bit it is strong and sturdy enough for everyday use.
