Item Description:
This is a handsome antique English large mahogany Victorian 2 door armoire wardrobe closet. It has a large beveled cornice and it features two spacious closets that have a total of 16 wood hangers, one that is missing its knob, and a wire. Underneath them there are two large drawers, one that has a divider, that are well constructed with dovetail joinery and they have traditional facings and one of them is missing its handle but can be easily replaced if necessary. This armoire has two large doors with beautiful mahogany surfaces. One of them is tight when operated and it is missing part of its decorative wood trim and both have loose panels on one side but it’s not distracting at all. This armoire may have age appropriate wood separations, imperfections, scuffs and scratches but considering its age, circa 1860, it is in good condition and it is strong and sturdy. It is an extravagant large piece of furniture that will last a lifetime of convenience.
