Item Description:
This is a gorgeous and rare antique English 8.5ft walnut breakfront tallboy armoire wardrobe closet. It has a traditional beveled cornice with attractive dental molding and it features 2 large closets that each has a slide-out metal hanging rod and 7 metal hooks, and they have large fluted doors with big beveled mirrors, unique decorative designs and lovely brass handles. One of the handles is slightly crooked but it’s not distracting at all. In the center there is a large cabinet that has 3 slide-out shelves, 2 of them seem to be stuck but could be loosen up if necessary, and the paneled doors have beautiful beveled mirrors framed around paneled surfaces and original decorative pierced square designs. In addition there are a total of 5 drawers that are well built with dovetail joinery and they have traditional facings with beautiful brass handles and fancy hardware. The mirrors may have age appropriate flaws which only add character to the piece and there are minor wood imperfections and wood separations but as shown it is overall
in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This is an outstanding piece of furniture with amazing quality that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
