Description:
This beautiful mahogany dresser was hand-crafted from solid wood in Edwardian England around 1900 and recently restored by a team of master craftsmen. Over the years, the wood has developed a rich patina that enhances the mahogany's lustrous complexion and distinct, wispy grain. Solid-brass swan neck pulls and pierced backplates form a wonderful complement to the mahogany, while the fluted edges and canted, reeded corners are characteristic of the Regency style. The classic two-over-three drawer design offers plenty of storage space, and each of the large drawers features hand-cut dovetailed joints, which indicate fine craftsmanship. Shaped bracket feet provide sturdy support that ensures this chest of drawers will remain standing for generations to come. The restoration was performed excellently, and there is no noticeable wear beyond some very minor veneer bubbling and a single age split. Age splits are purely cosmetic phenomena that do not affect structural integrity and result, as the term indicates, from age. This fantastic chest of drawers would make a fine addition to any home, so don't miss your chance to own it today!
