4 Antique English Copper Luster Staffordshire Jugs, 19C
Description: Four English Copper Luster Porcelain Jugs with Relief-Molded Décor, 19th C. England. The exteriors feature panels modeled in relief polychrome floral or figurative scenes. The pieces are unmarked. Dimensions: Ranging in size from the smallest: 3in. High, 5in. Wide to the largest: 6in. High, 6.25in. Wide. Total weight: 3lbs. Condition: The smallest jug has a .25 x .5in. long chip running along the lip rim, near the handle, which extends into a 1in. long hairline crack down the neck. All four pieces have a few minor nicks/chips along the base rims. The glaze of the exposed porcelain is crackled throughout the interior and exterior of all four wares. There is some wear to the hand-painted enamel of the relief decoration. There are a few scratches/minor wear to the copper luster throughout the surface of all four pieces. Otherwise, the pieces are in good condition overall.
