Description:
This fine salver has a circular form. There is a band of Regency style bright cut engraved decoration displaying four birds with wings addorsed, foliate and scrolling acanthus leaves. The embossed and chased Regency style pierced decoration to the rim of the salver includes mask motifs, hunting dogs, scrolling fruiting vines and bowl ornamentation. The salver is supported by three Regency style floral, acanthus leaf, paw feet. This salver is an extremely good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the salver are all very clear. Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item.
