Description: This compact has a rectangular form. The front cover has a green guilloche sunburst design enamel panel. The reverse panel has all over engine turned decoration. The compact is fitted with a push fit catch and shaped thumbpiece. The hinged cover opens to reveal a mirror to the interior cover, and the powder pad and well to the interior of the base. This compact case is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition. The engine turned decoration is sharp. The enamel is in perfect condition. Full hallmarks struck to the interior rim of the base, and part marks, as expected the interior of the upper cover are all very clear.
