Description: For sale is a wonderful old doorstop featuring an eagle resting on the pole of a flag; the flag is resting atop a tall hat with a star on the front. My research indicates that this doorstop is from the period of the Spanish American War, pre 1900. It is solid cast iron and stands 7 1/8 inches tall and is 5 1/4 inches across the base. The doorstop is not marked. It has expected wear to the paint but is in very good condition. The image is gorgeous!
