Description:
This beautiful antique Dutch Mahogany Chest of Drawers was created around 1890 in the Netherlands. The mahogany looks wonderful, with a well-developed patina, color, and grain. This piece has (2) frieze drawers on top of an additional (2) graduated drawers. Striking flame mahogany was used to create the face of these drawers. The drawers boasts large glass knobs and hand-crafted dovetailed joints in the front and rear. The bottom drawer is about 9 1/2" deep with the drawer above it being 8" deep. This lovely chest of drawers sits atop (4) turned toupie feet. Some wear consistent with age, yet this piece remains in very good condition (see picture above). The clean, simple lines add to the charm of this chest of drawers. Don't miss your chance to make this piece a part of your home decor!
