Description:
This gorgeous solid oak dresser was hand-crafted in the Netherlands around 1820. Over the years, the wood has developed a lovely patina that enriches the oak's pronounced grain and warm complexion. The result is an incredibly beautiful, rich oak that looks especially striking in places where the makers used tiger oak. Solid-brass hardware, including swan neck style pulls, forms a wonderful complement to the oak, while the paneling and shaped trim in the hood look quite elegant. With a total of seven drawers as well as a cabinet and the hood, this dresser offers plenty of storage. Each of the drawers features hand-cut dovetailed joints, while the central drawer is a divided silverware drawer. The cabinet locks with an accompanying key, and although the drawers lock, they will not unlock without much difficulty, so we recommend that you only use the key with the cabinet. At almost two hundred years old, this dresser remains in incredible condition, with only the most minor surface wear. This is especially unique for pieces of this age. Don't miss your chance to make this fantastic Dutch oak dresser a part of your home today!
