Magnificent Covered Cup on Stand ,I hope you can see the detail is monumental. this is a covered cup on a pedestal base and all the decoration that you can see is highly raised and applied and every single inch of the surface of the cup, pedestal and cover are covered with this decoration, oddly enough the flowers and all the decreative work is in very good condition, it has just the slightest amount of ware to the gold on the handle, I hope you can see this as well, there is a beautiful yellow bird of the front of the cup and the same bird with the wings outspread on a branch for the handle of the lid of the cup the pedestal base has beautiful painted flowers on the top surface and one tiny fire blip there just a little blip in the glaze, not a big deal, you cant see it and it was defiantly done during the firing this beautiful monumental cabinet cup is marked on the bottom with crossed arrows, I found this mark in Rontgen book of porcelain marks on pg# 221 and the mark relates to the factory Kalk / Eisenberg 1904 once again in perfect condition a great cabinet cup of unusual design and per portion for the collector
Measures 6 ½”H top to bottom, running the tape across the mid body of the cup including the handle aprox. 5”, pedestal base D is 5 3/8”
