Description:
This caddy spoon has a plain shovel shaped bowl. The tapering handle has acanthus decoration, as designed by Johan Rohde in 1917. The spoon is hand crafted in 830 standard silver. The spoon was manufactured by Georg Jensen, the collectable Danish silversmith. This caddy spoon is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition in keeping with its age. (As to be expected, there are some minor surface scratches but the piece could be professionally polished if preferred). The hallmarks struck to the reverse of the spoon are very clear. Reflections in photography may not give a true representation of this item. Length 10.5cm/4.2", Length of bowl 4.2cm/1.7", Width of bowl 3.5cm/1.35", Weight 26.1g.
