Description:
Presented is very old German beer stein made around 1860 - almost 150 years old. The body of the stein is made from hand-blown crystal glass. It was decorated with beautiful copper wheel- engarved floral decorations and the word "Achtung" - "Attention!".. The lid is pewte - a very typical lid for the period with a small squized solid ball for the thumblift and closed hinge. The body stein is in excellent condition with some factory-related glass impurities very common for the age. The handle has a tension line where it connects to the body. It is a very common condition - about half of the steins from that period come with this line. Most likely this condition occured in time of production. There is no other breaks or damages, the handle is quite solid. The stein is 6" tall, 0.5L capacity.
