Description:
This fine quality box has a circular form. The hallmarked hinged cover has a chased decorated border surrounding a handpainted enamel panel depicting pink and red roses. The plain sides are decorated with white guilloche enamel. The plain underside and the interior of the box are silver gilt. This piece is hallmarked 935 to the cover. This fine quality box is a very good gauge of silver. The enamel is in perfect condition. There is slight wear to the underside of the box in keeping with its age. Reflections in photography may not give a true representation of this item. Diameter 7cm/2,75", Height 1.5cm/0.6", Weight 100.3g. Alternative images available on request.
