Antique China Vase Pair Tall Yellow Hand Painted Floral Motif; we acquired these antique exquisite vases from an estate sale here on the east coast. Purchased from the second owner we know little of the manufacturer of these vases. Only that the Art Deco feels of these vintage vases and the marking on the bottom we felt they were quite unique. Once we brought the vases back to the store, and started photographing them, we realized that one of the vases had a small crack on the front that ran vertical with the vase; the vase still holds it integrity however I would only use them as a decorative item.
We are unsure if the damage happen in bringing the vases back to the store or if was there at the time of purchase, though we try to inspect our items well prior to purchasing to them.
These Art Deco Vases measure 12 3/8 inches tall, the bottom center is 3 5/8 inches in diameter the top is 1 ˝ inches in diameter and the base is 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Marked as shown in the pictures below the number “4497 110” is found on both of the bottom of the vases.
Again we are sorry that one of these vases is damaged, however the integrity is still there as we moved them around pretty freely in photographing them. The other matching vase is in excellent condition.
