Antique China Bowls Bouillon Bowls White Gold 8 Bavaria China; every time we are lucky enough to find a set of antique china Bouillon Bowls we sell them very quickly. With the Holiday Season fast approaching and the entertaining that comes with the season we do not expect this set of Antique Bavaria China Bouillon Bowls to last long. Purchased from an antique dealer who was sizing down their stock, we found this set of Bouillon Bowls in wonderful condition. These dainty antique china bowls and saucers measure as follow; the bowl is 5 inches overall in diameter including handles, the center width of the bowl is 3 inches and the set stands 1 7/8 inches tall; the saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter.
We found several marks on the saucers as pictures below. The antique dealer whom we purchased this set of “soup bowls” from advised the set came from an estate up north in NY and dated between 1920–1928 and was Bavaria China.
Two of the saucers are marked “Paul Muller Selb Bavaria”. If you have any questions about the marks please let us know and we will try to answer what we can.
There is some “wear” to the accented hand painted gold so we ask that you please review the pictures carefully.
This set of vintage Bavaria China bowls would be perfect for entertaining this Holiday Season try serving an appetizer of rich seafood bisque. Or use them at the end of a meal to serve rich chocolate custard, or a bread pudding with lots of cream, or use them to serve a sorbet in between courses.
