Description: "AT THE ROXY" Antique Ceiling Ornament taken from an old Theatre and purchased c.1980 from a NYC Antiques House. The graceful and heavy remnant is covered in distressed and antiqued metallic gilt paint hand applied overed a gesso-coated Handmade Woodcarving. The condition is very good - its patina and old scars add volumes to the visual authenticity.

With overall dimensions of 46 1/2"l x 18 l/1"w x 2"+- Thick, it requires a professional contractor to secure it to a Ceiling. The inside dimensions of 33"l x 6 1/2"w. allow for average Chandelier Medallion-covers.

A wonderful choice for a Hometheatre, Library, Billiardroom or any Traditional Commercial setting, it would also be a marvelous Frame for a Vintage Sign!
