Description: A complete set of antique Japanese zen temple altar furnishings, including; a pair of bronze flower vases, pair of bronze candlesticks, bronze incense burner, and a small bronze crane - turtle candlestand. All beautifully cast antique Meiji Period c. 1890. They come in the original box `tomobako` signed by the craftsman, `Katayama`. The Japanese characters on the box read `Gogusoku` meaning set of 5 altar bronzes and Katayama`s name. c.1890. (vases 6" x 4") (vases 15cm x 12cm). (candlestands 10" x 3") (candlestands 26cm x 9cm).
