Description: French, 19th century brass box with a dog in high relief on the top. Possibly a snuff box.
2 5/8inches in diameter.
Edges are ridged. Absolutely adorable dog sits on the lid. He is moulded in very high relief with fabulous detail of coat, ribs, muscles and detail on his alert face. Box has a rattle - perhaps intentionally.
No marks. Condition is excellent. No dings/dents/damage of any kind.
