Description: Edo period blue on white Japanese porcelain plate representing a peasant with 2 bales of hay on his back. It has a floral border and the reverse has oval blue ornaments and a signature (Fuku) in the center. It dates to Edo period, early 19th. century and is intact. Size: 6 inches diameter ( 15 cm.). Estimated value: $1750.
