Description: Wonderful early glass item from the 19th century – I am 99% sure that it is New England Glass. This pitcher is blown mold glass in a very nice pattern. The glass is quite heavy and substantial and the decoration is of lovely birds. On one side of the pitcher you see the mother and father bird intently gazing at a nest full of eggs and on the others side of the pitcher they are intently gazing again only this time looking extremely excited and happy at the little tiny heads of the birds in the nest. It is positively wonderful – I love this pitcher. As I sit here and do this description I actually have Goosebumps from the sheer beauty of the subject. It is in very very good condition – not a chip or flake anywhere. It measures 7 ½”h with a base diameter 3 ¾”.
