Description: We attended the auction of the Hazlett Estate and found this wonderful antique bible. We considered polishing the leather but we are not in the business of restoring old books and thought that our purchaser might prefer to do the polishing of the cover themselves. The binding is tight and the book smells just fine - there is no evidence of any mold etc. There is even an old photo - presumably of the original owner. His name is inscribed on the cover = James M Haslett. We are giving you lots of photos. There are goodies inside including the birth records, wedding records, newspaper articles, and the old photo.
