Description: Fabulous antique Bawo and Dotter Limoges Porcelain vanity tray. c:1891-1900. Stunning and good size, hand painted porcelain limoges tray featuring old fashioned country roses, backstamped in red: Elite, Limoges France, and in green, Limoges in a Star, France, and also some letters in red on back, which are hard to make out. The roses on this tray are very well done and quite detailed. This tray is a bit over 12 long x 8.75 wide. No chips or cracks; one pin head size piece of clay waste on it, and a bit of wear off the gold on the edge tips. It is a very beautiful work of art; perfect, one of a kind gift for that special person on your list!
