Description:
Nice 19th century Lighting here, this astral lamp is an impressive 21 1/2" high overall. Has original gilt brass surface, on a marble base, the shade ring does not have holes for prisms, never had prisms, just nice clean lines, more classical. The shade has nice deep floral cutting or deeply engraved florals on a frosted base. The lamp has been fitted for electricity by drilling through the bottom of the font, has a switch on the cord for easy on & off. Measuring 21 ?" high overall, base is 11 ?" to top of shade holder, shade is 11" high x 5 5/8" diameter of base opening & 11" high. Shade is remarkably in excellent condition, no chips or flea bites, only nice elegant clean flowing lines, dating from the mid 1800's ready to light up & enjoy, excellent for decorating with American Empire Classical traditional Chippendale federal formal furniture
