Antique American Pressed Glass Mushroom Lamp, 20th C.
Description: Antique American Pressed/Cast Glass Mushroom Table Lamp, Early 20th C. The lamp features a tapered glass base terminating in a single socket with metal ring fixture fitted with a bulbous circular domed glass shade. The surface of the glass base and shade are cast with an elaborate hobstar and diamond pattern. The base of the circular metal rim supporting the glass shade is drilled with small holes (some of which are hung with glass drop pendants). The banded side of the glass shade is cut with radiating leaf/palm frond pattern. The glass is not visibly signed or marked. Dimensions: The cord is dirty but intact and the lamp appears to be in fine working condition. There are some small/minor surface chips/flakes to the edges of the cast glass pattern on the shade and base. There are a few slightly larger surface chips to the edges of the cast glass pattern on the shade and toothed edge/rim of the base (measuring up to 1/4" long). There are some chips/flakes to the tips and edges of the glass drop pendants which appear to be replacements (those remaining are hung on every other hole). Many of the glass pendants are missing (pieces can be easily replaced). There is some dirt/dust to the surface of the glass. There is some minor oxidation/wear to the metal mounts and fixture. Otherwise, the lamp is in good condition. Condition:
