Description: This button is part of our museum quality button collection. Many collectors who visited our shop had a chance to view all of them, and although interested, they were not for sale at the time. Well, after 9 years of these buttons being on display, we decided to part with them. Since we don't collect buttons, we're hoping that each button will find a new home, where it will be appreciated at least as much as it was here.... Originally these buttons were part of HUGE 10 000 pc lot, all on original manufacturers sample cards, with each button being different. This lot was sold years ago to a dealer/collector. We kept these buttons because most of them fell off the cards, due to the age and fragility of the paper/cards. We'll be offering these buttons on Ebay over the next few weeks, so if you are one of the people interested in the past, here is your chance. Needless to say - you are bidding on extremely scarce, MUSEUM QUALITY button. Description: Beautiful 2-piece antique button with round, dome shaped gold "design under glass" centerpiece. Outer piece is made of slightly translucent brown "Mother of Pearl color" glass, which is 1-1/4 inches in diameter (Large) and 10-12mm thick over the centerpiece. 4 way brass box shank, Bohemia/Czechoslovakia circa 1890-1920.
