Description: This marvelous iron chandelier was hand-built in the 1800s and was originally intended for use with traditional wax candles. This chandelier meets the chain at a large hand forged hook, which is connected to three antique chains to support the body of this amazing piece. The body is created of a bent iron strap, which is hand riveted to create a center ring. Attached by rivets to the exterior of the ring are four curled straps on which rest simple hand hammered bobeches. This handsome four light chandelier displays rustic charm. This chandelier is in excellent condition, it has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 19 ¼”; the length of the chandelier only is 21 ½”; the overall length is 44 ¾”.
