Description:
The Ansonia Clock Company produced this attractive mantle clock in 1894 and named it the "Delhi". The case is clean and with a perfect finish. The wonderful door glass with the ANSONIA name (see photograph) was used by the company on several of its better clocks. The dial is original with a replaced paper cover and the hands, nickel pendulum and nickel dial rings are also original to the clock. The top ornament retains its carved crest which adds to the value of this premium quality case from Ansonia. Another in the collection of fourteen parlor clocks that we recently acquired from a Southern gentleman who really knows his clocks !!
