Description: Ancient Egyptian wall fragment. Large sandstone carving of female rulers in profile, the hands raised to Aten, a sun disk with rays which end in hands. Aten was a form of the sun God Ra. During the reign of Akhenaten, the Aten was made the King of the Gods. Hieroglyphic symbols to the top left corner. Covered in a light earthen patina. New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. Egyptian antiquities are authentic and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. 18 1/2" x 7 1/2"
