Long ago in the ancient forgotten past of China, a most beautiful Semi-Translucent LIGHT GREEN Nephrite Jade gemstone was fashioned by the hands of a Mystic into the shape of a TAO TIE DRAGON FACE CONG CENTER BEAD. This ancient wonder comes from the time of the Liangzhu Culture, a people who made mystical jade amulets, beads, talisman and ritual objects thousands of years ago. It is theorized that these ancient Chinese people believed jade could regulate the flow of CHI, or the universal energy in the body of the person who wore it. If you will note this ancient gemstone artifact displays a 2 highly detailed Tao Tai Dragon Masks on opposite sides of the bead. This is symbolic of the Dual Cosmic Forces of Yin and Yang. Millenniums ago this TAO TIE DRAGON FACE CONG CENTER BEAD was originally fashioned from a beautiful Semi-Translucent LIGHT GREEN Nephrite Jade that has been transformed in both color and composition since it was created due to burial in the Earth and exposure to the elements. The jade gemstone exhibits surface erosion and in some areas calcification that are further accented with deep dark brown suffusions forming a rich archaic patina.
