Description: This vintage Ice Blue cup has the Mayfair Open Rose pattern made by the Hocking Glass Company from 1931 to 1937.
The Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation came into existence on December 31,1937, when the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation and its subsidiaries and the Hocking Glass Company merged. Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation continued to expand into other areas of production such as tableware, toiletries and cosmetic containers. It continues today to operate 20 plants and is the worlds largest maker of glass tableware.
This cup has a large chip on the rim, which I tried to show in the pictures and it measures 2 1/8 inches high, 3 9/16 inches across the top and 4 3/8 inches across with the handle. A wonderful addition to any Hocking Glass Collection.
